The UCMP Crystal Caverns collection consists of vertebrates and a small assemblage of millipede remains (Diplopoda) recovered from cave deposits located in the central Sierra Nevada foothills. The millipedes show a unique crystalline three-dimensional preservation. All 81 specimens are databased and the high resolution images available on Calphotos. The specimen records and low resolution thumbnails available at iDigBio, iDigPaleo, GBIF, and EOL.
